With the acceptance of Bitcoin as a founding step, more online travel booking agencies are starting to bring more options for consumers using major cryptocurrencies like , Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance, Verge and XcelToken Plus.

Of all the online travel providers, XcelTrip, one of the very first blockchain based online travel platform, has been very vocal about their support for their customers and their continuous drive to help satisfy their wants. AirTreks has also shared the news that they will be accepting Bitcoin as a payment. In order to complete a payment, consumers are required to have any of the following Bitcoin wallets: BitPay, Copay, Bitcoin.com, Mycelium and Airbitz.

CheapAir supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Dash. Destinia.com allegedly supports Bitcoin payments as well, however, some restrictions may apply regarding hotel, car and other rentals. They have also made it clear that despite the option of cryptos for payment, some destinations will be limited to credit cards.

Surf Air supposedly accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. The travel agency will only offer this option for memberships and charter requests. In order to use cryptocurrencies, consumers will have to choose a plan: Unlimited California or Texas, Unlimited U.S, Unlimited Europe or Unlimited Global and the application process is as simple as that.
